I studied Information Science and Engineering at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, where I first discovered the intersection of logic and creativity that makes software so compelling. That foundation led me through seven years of professional engineering — from my first role at Hatena, to scaling platforms at Rakuten and CyberAgent, to eventually starting something of my own.

Today I run MILD Foundation, a software agency I founded in 2025. We help businesses integrate AI into their workflows, build clean data infrastructure, and automate the overhead that slows teams down. Living and working in Kyoto has shaped my engineering philosophy — rooted in craftsmanship, patience, and the belief that the best software is reliable, maintainable, and quietly effective.

京都の立命館大学で情報理工学を専攻し、論理と創造性が交差するソフトウェアの魅力に出会いました。その基盤をもとに、はてなでのキャリアスタートから、楽天やサイバーエージェントでのプラットフォーム開発、そして自らの事業立ち上げまで — 7年間のエンジニアリングの道を歩んできました。

現在は2025年に創設したソフトウェアエージェンシー「MILD Foundation」を運営しています。企業のAIワークフロー統合、クリーンなデータ基盤構築、業務自動化を支援しています。京都で暮らし働くことが、職人技と忍耐に根ざしたエンジニアリング哲学を形作ってきました。

Founded a software agency focused on AI integration, data engineering, and business automation. In the first year, delivered projects for clients in logistics, fintech, and healthcare — including an LLM-powered document processing system, a real-time ETL pipeline for supply chain analytics, and a full workflow automation platform that replaced 30+ hours of weekly manual work for one client. AI統合、データエンジニアリング、業務自動化に特化したソフトウェアエージェンシーを創設。初年度には物流、フィンテック、ヘルスケア分野のクライアントにプロジェクトを提供 — LLMを活用した文書処理システム、サプライチェーン分析向けのリアルタイムETLパイプライン、あるクライアントの週30時間以上の手作業を置き換えたワークフロー自動化プラットフォームなどを構築。

Led a backend team on CyberAgent's ad-tech platform, responsible for real-time bidding infrastructure and campaign analytics serving tens of millions of daily impressions. Redesigned the data ingestion pipeline to cut processing latency by 60%. Also drove the team's migration from on-premise systems to a Kubernetes-based cloud architecture, and mentored four junior engineers through their first production deployments. サイバーエージェントのアドテクプラットフォームでバックエンドチームをリード。リアルタイム入札基盤とキャンペーン分析を担当し、日次数千万インプレッションを処理。データ取り込みパイプラインを再設計し、処理レイテンシを60%削減。オンプレミスからKubernetesベースのクラウドアーキテクチャへの移行を推進し、4名のジュニアエンジニアの本番デプロイメントまでの育成も担当。

Owned the order notification system processing 2M+ daily events, built a merchant-facing analytics dashboard, and contributed to the platform's transition from a monolith to a service-oriented architecture. Worked daily in English with engineers from over 20 countries. 日本最大のECマーケットプレイス「楽天市場」のマイクロサービスと内部APIを開発。日次200万件以上のイベントを処理する注文通知システムを担当し、出店者向けの分析ダッシュボードを構築。モノリスからサービス指向アーキテクチャへの移行にも貢献。20カ国以上のエンジニアと日常的に英語で協業。

Learned the discipline of writing code that other people have to read, maintain, and trust. 開発者コミュニティで知られる京都発のWeb企業での最初のエンジニア職。はてなブログとサーバー監視SaaS「Mackerel」のバックエンドシステムを担当。他の人が読み、保守し、信頼しなければならないコードを書く規律を学びました。
